This action took place on A Street in Ashland, Oregon. It was the First Friday Art Walk and A Street is the busiest street on the art walk. This was one of my first pieces outside of the University. Like my other work, I want to be involved in and do work for the community. This was the first time I expanded the gesture to the Ashland Downtown art scene. I set up a booth for people to come and get a heart painted on their face. I had 6 colors for people to choose from and this was free for anyone to enjoy.
