Send Coins to Israel, 2006
Send coins to Israel is my most recent project. I am currently making hundreds of coins out of porcelain, which are to be sent to Israel this coming summer. I am working with a church that twice a year travels to Israel to give relief and help in any way they can. A fingerprint marks one side of each coin. The coin is made by hand by the individual who marks the coin by placing their finger in porcelain slip and then on the unfired clay.
